Realistically, IMO, you both should find the safest area where you are currently at. So you should find a safe area near your work and he his.<br /><br />Naturally, you will want to contact each other as soon as possible. Phone lines and such may be tied up, your phone might have stopped working, etc. So a good tip I read is make sure you both have decided an out of bay area contact person who is the first person you should notify after a quake. That person should have both your contact info, your parents contact info, etc. They should be the communication hub to keep everyone updated.
